Lieutenant-Colonel Daugherty

Senior Aerospace Instructor

Lieutenant-Colonel Donald Daugherty is a aerospace science instructor (SASI) at Lake Brantley High School.

Lieutenant-Colonel Donald Daugherty had graduated high school in the year of 1986. He had first shown interest in the United States Air Force in 1986 at the University of south Florida as a freshman.

He had officially joined the United States Air Force on April 27th, 1991. He served his country for 22 years on active duty as a Air Force space operations officer. 

In 1994 Lieutenant-Colonel Donald Daugherty launched a real unarmed test missile.

Lieutenant-Colonel Donald Daugherty has a undergraduate degree in history and he has a Bachelors and Master degree in space operation.

He has been teaching AFJROTC for his 6th year, and been teaching AFJROTC at Lake Brantley High School for one year. 

Lieutenant-Colonel Donald Daughtery is a Adjunct professor for Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

He teaches five drone courses, and a dual enrollment class for Embry Riddle at Lake Brantley High School.

Lieutenant-Colonel Donald Daugherty shows love for his wife Mrs. Daugherty, his two children, and his passion for riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. 

When asked why does he teach AFJROTC he replied with 

"I enjoy helping students get their start in life".
